Blue Tit on Boot
The boot was first formed (carved) from Styrofoam, covered in cold porcelain paste and then painted. The birds are made with Styrofoam eggs for the body again covered with paste, the head is shaped entirely of paste. Each feather for the wings and tail has been cut individually and veined before being attached to the main body
